The Gospel
Former IMB president Tom Eliff once said: "The most important thing you can do to prepare for missions is to get the Gospel right."  Missionaries must know and understand the Gospel if they are to communicate the Gospel to the nations.  Let us never forget that it is the Gospel of Jesus Christ that is the power of God unto salvation.  If the Gospel is not proclaimed to a people, there is no hope of salvation for them.
