Hello everyone! I greatly appreciate your prayers for me and the work here in Colombia. Thank you!

Here's a quick update. We are continuing to work with the Wounaan here in Bogotá. We are starting to do some leadership training for them in hopes that they may be able to evangelize their own people with the gospel. We plan to teach on various commands of Jesus in the gospel (Mat 28:20) and on key aspects of a biblical church. Please pray that they will be discipled and mobilized to evangelize other Wounaan. Pray that many churches will be planted as they grow in their faith.

We are still visiting the shelters where many from Guainía and Vaupés live. Some of the people in the shelters are believers and others are not. We have been teaching them stories from the gospels about Jesus, emphasizing His compassion and power. Some have been attending the local Baptist church on Sundays. Please pray that those who are believers will grow in their faith and that the Spirit of God will save those who are not through the gospel.

Please remember to pray for future trips to Chocó to visit the Katío community. Another prayer concern would be the possibility of visiting Vaupés this year.  I will inform you of such trips as they come up.  Again, thank you for your prayers. They are an important part of the missionary task.
