New Update

And so, from the day we heard, we have not ceased to pray for you, asking that you may be filled with the knowledge of his will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding, so as to walk in a manner worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing to him, bearing fruit in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God. May you be strengthened with all power, according to his glorious might, for all endurance and patience with joy, giving thanks to the Father, who has qualified you to share in the inheritance of the saints in light. He has delivered us from the domain of darkness and transferred us to the kingdom of his beloved Son, in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.
— Colossians 1:9-14

Thank you for your prayers. I hope each of you is doing well and serving our Lord wherever you may be. Let me bring you up to date concerning what I've been doing with the Chamí and tell you about an upcoming meeting/vacation. Let us rejoice in the Lord always, pray without ceasing, and give thanks in all circumstances, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for us (1 Thes 5:16-18).

Greetings! I do hope this finds each of you well. I greatly appreciate your prayers. Please continue to beseech the Lord for me and the work God is doing in Colombia. Please pray that the Word would spread rapidly and be glorified (2 Thes 3:1) and that the Lord would send out workers into his harvest (Mat 9:37-38).

But, ultimately, pray that God’s name would be great among the nations; pray that in every town, village, and neighborhood of this planet there would be found believers gathered into churches praising the glories of God and proclaiming the gospel of Christ despite any persecution there may be.

New Update!

Well, it's time for another update.  Thank you for your prayers.  I hope that this newsletter finds you well and serving the Lord.  As I mentioned in my last update, I participated in a conference a few months ago.  Well, one of the men (Jorge) I worked with at the conference has been utilizing what he learned back in his home town.  Toward the end of September, Stan (another missionary) and I will travel to Quindío in order to follow up with him, to find out what he has been doing, and to train him further.  While we are over in that area of Colombia, we will also travel to Risaralda to visit another man (Francisco) who also attended the conference.  Please pray that these visits will be fruitful.
