New Ministry Here in Bogota

Thank you for your prayers. They are truly appreciated. Here is a brief update.  I would like to announce that I have a new ministry here in Bogota.  I am no longer working at the student center with indigenous students.  Now, I will be doing two other things.  I am excited to see what God is going to do.

First, I will be doing research on the various indigenous groups in Colombia to determine their level of evangelization, access to scripture, missionary presence, etc. and developing a database for this information.

Second, I will be working along with Stan, another IMB missionary, to engage the displaced indigenous groups in downtown Bogota.  This week I was able to go downtown twice for a Bible study with some of the indigenous believers, sharing with them the story of the temptation of Christ.

Also, a week ago I moved into a new apartment a few doors down from the mission office. I am still working on getting it furnished.

Points for Prayer:
• That my transition into these new ministries will go well.
• That I will be able to do the much needed research of the indigenous groups in Colombia.
• That Stan and I will be able to engage the displaced indigenous downtown with the gospel and disciple some of the new believers.
• That I will get settled in in my new apartment.
• That God's Name would be great among all peoples as the gospel is proclaimed.
