AMP Summit

Last week, all of the IMB personnel working in the Americas had a summit meeting in the Dominican Republic.

It was wonderful to reunite with friends that I haven't seen in a long time and a joy to meet many new friends. I had the privilege of hearing David Platt preach the Word to us every morning for six days. I was able to sing to the Lord in English with my fellow missionaries. The weather was wonderful; the beach was beautiful. My belly was filled with delicious food. We collected nearly $250,000 for missions. The whole week was a great time of refreshment and spiritual renewal.

There were several restaurants at the resort, including a Japanese restaurant with a hibachi grill. They let me get behind the grill and cook a little bit!
