Greetings from Bogotá! I hope everyone is doing well as you serve our Lord wherever you happen to be. I am grateful to all of you who are praying for me as I serve in Colombia. Thank you. Here is a brief update concerning what's going on:

As I have mentioned a few months ago, many of the people with whom I have been working, have left Bogotá and moved to different indigenous reservations in the interior. Consequently, Stan, a missionary whom I have been serving along side, has moved to a town closer to these reservations. Pray for Stan as he continues the Chamí work we began in Bogotá.

I am continuing to work with the Chamí here in Bogotá.  I have been going to the shelter to visit with the Chamí.  Since those who have stayed are ones have did not know very well, I have trying to get to know them better during my visits. I have also started to teach a series of Bible stories in order to communicate who Christ is. Please pray for me that I would have wisdom as I seek to teach them the gospel.

I also work on research which involves updating our databases regarding each people group in Colombia. There are over 100 indigenous groups in Colombia. Some have had missionary activity and have access to the gospel. However, other groups have very little or no access to the gospel. One of the things I have been doing is helping to develop maps showing the work that has been done among the various people groups.

Please pray that the Lord of the Harvest would send out laborers so that the gospel would spread to every people group of Colombia. Pray for those who are already serving that gospel would be clearly communicated and lead to people being saved by God's grace and churches planted.

Romans 16:25-27

Now to him who is able to strengthen you according to my gospel and the preaching of Jesus Christ,according to the revelation of the mystery that was kept secret for long ages but has now been disclosed and through the prophetic writings has been made known to all nations, according to the command of the eternal God, to bring about the obedience of faith—to the only wise God be glory forevermore through Jesus Christ!
