Update!

Hello, everyone!

Thank you for your many prayers on behalf of the the work God is doing here in Colombia among the displaced indigenous peoples.

The Katío family has returned to Bogotá and are living close to where they were living just before they left. It has been very difficult for them. There's has been illness. Two new babies have been born, Wayner and Marilina. But both of them have been hospitalized. So please for for them. Also pray for us as we continue to communicate the Gospel to them. Their Spanish is still limited, so communication is difficult. Here's a short video of the family with the new babies. (It was recorded on a cheap phone in a dark room, so the quality is not great).

Among the Wounaan family, there are two weddings coming up. There is a younger couple and an older one. The older couple has been together for decades. When we found out that they were never officially married, we decided to have a wedding for them.  The bride for the younger couple is the daughter of the older couple. It will be a double wedding.

Here are some prayer concerns:

• That we will be able to disciple the Wounaan believers so that they may continue to grow in the faith, see the grand story of the Bible, and apply the Word to their lives.
• For both of the Wounaan couples who will be married soon, that they will have strong Christ-glorifying marriages.

• That the Wounaan in Bogotá will be mobilized to send out their own missionaries to reach their on people in Chocó.

• That the work with the Katío would be fruitful and lead to many coming to Christ and biblical churches planted.

• For the many health concerns among the Katío family.
• That I will be devoted to the Word, prayer, and the task at hand and grow closer to the Lord each and every day.

• That the Name of Christ would be great among all peoples as the gospel is proclaimed to the ends of the earth.

Psalm 62:8
Trust in him at all times, O people;

Pour out your heart before him;
God is a refuge for us. Selah
