Happy Reformation Day

Hello everyone!

I hope this find you doing well.  Here's an update as to whats been going on. Happy Reformation Day! Praise God for the wonderful gospel of salvation and forgiveness. May we not forget that justification is by grace alone through faith alone in Christ alone to the glory of God alone!

Please continue to pray for the peoples of Colombia that they might come to know the glorious gospel of Jesus Christ.

Please pray for Eliezer and his family. They are a Katío family with who I've been working. They have returned to Chocó. Please pray that someone can continue to share with them the gospel. He doesn't have phone, and we have heard very little from him since he's left. His family went back to Chocó about a year ago and returned to Bogotá. We have been able to continue to visit with another Katío man and his family. His name is Fernando.  In order to help reach out to the other Katíos and Chamí that live in the neighborhood. We provided a meal for them at a nearby Baptist church building. We will likely do something for them again closer to Christmas.  Language continues to be a barrier.

Please continue to pray for the Wounaan as well. Serselino continues to have some health problems that need to be addressed. Pray for us as we work to disciple them in basic Christian truths. They too have had encounters with Jehovah Witnesses.

Here are some prayer concerns to keep in mind:

• That we will be able to disciple the Wounaan believers so that they may continue to grow in the faith, see the grand story of the Bible, and apply the Word to their lives.

• That the Wounaan in Bogotá will be mobilized to send out their own missionaries to reach their on people in Chocó. That we can connect them with the Wounaan believers in Panamá in this needed task.

• That the work with the Katío would be fruitful and lead to many coming to Christ and biblical churches planted.  Pray that they would clearly understand the gospel.

• For the many health concerns among the Wounaan and Katío families.
• That I will be devoted to the Word, prayer, and the task at hand and grow closer to the Lord each and every day.

• That the Name of Christ would be great among all peoples as the gospel is proclaimed to the ends of the earth.

Luke 24:45-48

Then Jesus opened their minds to understand the Scriptures, and said to them, “Thus it is written,
that the Christ should suffer
and on the third day rise from the dead,
and that repentance for the forgiveness of sins
should be proclaimed in his name to all nations,
beginning from Jerusalem.

You are witnesses of these things."
