Panama Trip

Greetings! I hope everyone is doing well. Thank you for praying for me. Here's a new update concerning my trip to Panamá I took a few weeks ago. I was able to visit believers from the Wounaan and the Emberá peoples. It was a short trip, and I wish I could have had a little more time to get to know the people I met better.

In Panamá City, I was able to meet Agustín. He has been one of the key leaders among the Wounaan believers in Panamá. He is also one of the most educated believers. He is unable to do much now since he has lost his sight. Please pray that God will continue to use him to lead the Wounaan believers in the truth.

A few hours further out from the city, I was able to meet a Wounaan believer named Rito. He is the pastor of a Wounaan church. He seems interested in helping the Wounaan believers in Bogotá. So there may be some possibilities with Rito and with others in the church there to help strengthen the Wounaan believers in Bogotá. Pray that the Wounaan in both Panamá and in Bogotá would be mobilized to reach the Wounaan in Chocó.

I really enjoyed the trip. I hope that it will bear fruit and that this one trip will help to develop relationships between the two groups. Before  I left for Panamá, I was able to record a video greeting from Sercelino, a Wounaan in Bogotá, for the Wounaan in Panamá. After playing the video for the Wounaan in Panamá, I recorded a video greeting from them to play for the Wounaan back in Colombia. They both really enjoyed the video greetings.

Thank you for your prayers.

Romans 5:8-11
But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Much more then, having now been justified by His blood, we shall be saved from the wrath of God through Him. For if while we were enemies we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, much more, having been reconciled, we shall be saved by His life. And not only this, but we also exult in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received the reconciliation.
