Here's another quick update concerning our work with the Katíos.
There was a fire in the neighborhood where the Katíos live. Three building were severely damaged. No one died or were injured, but seventy people lost all their possessions and their homes. The cause of the fire is unknown. Among those who lost their home were some of the families we've been visiting. We have been able to help those affected by bringing some bread, milk, and diapers. We have helped one family find a new place to live. It has been really hard for the Katíos. They are in Bogota having been displaced from the home in another part of Colombia. The incident last month. And now the fire. Please pray that we can clearly communicate the hope that we have in the gospel of Jesus.
