Merry Christmas!

Luke 2:10-11 

And the angel said to them, "Don't be afraid, for behold, 

I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all the people. 

For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord." 

Here is a brief update for all of you. I hope you all have a wonderful Christmas and a Happy New Year.

As I mentioned earlier, I am continuing to work with the displaced indigenous here in Bogotá. I have been going to the shelter to visit with the Chamí. Since those who have stayed are ones have did not know very well, I have trying to get to know them better during my visits.

Greetings from Bogotá! I hope everyone is doing well as you serve our Lord wherever you happen to be. I am grateful to all of you who are praying for me as I serve in Colombia. Thank you. Here is a brief update concerning what's going on:

New IMB President

Earlier this week, the trustees of the International Mission Board elected David Platt to serve as president. Platt is the pastor of The Church at Brook Hills (Birmingham, AL) and author of Radical, Radical Together, and Follow Me. He is also known for Secret Church.

I am encouraged by the choice for several reasons:

A Team from NY and GA

Greetings! Thank you for partnering with me through prayer. Here are a few things that have been going on recently. Last week, we had a team from the US come and help us out. Half the team was from New York City; the other half was from Georgia.
